Fourth of July
We spent a wonderful Fourth of July this year at Chad's parents house. I can't believe that my baby boy is 2 months old and my little girl is 2. Wow, how time flies!

Chad and his little girl
I absolutely love watching my husband be a daddy to his little girl. His kindness, love, and patience with our little Chloe is so sweet. Chad was out of work for the last 10 months and had the priviledge of spending a lot of time with Chloe as she went from a crawling baby to a little girl who is constantly on the go. Though being unemployed was a difficult and uncertain time, the time he had with Chloe was such a gift.

Introducing Jackson
It has been quite awhile since I blogged last and am now going to do my best to get back on track! Since the last blog, God has blessed us with a beautiful little boy who is bringing us so much joy. Jackson Wyatt Champlin was born on April 18 at 5:46 pm weighing 8lbs 2 ounces. It almost seemed that he was born with a smile on his face and hasn't stopped smiling since. He loves his big sister Chloe and is constantly trying to "talk" to her. His eyes are big and brown like his daddy's which I love. Chloe smothers him with love and is a wonderful big sister. We praise God daily for the blessing of our children and pray for wisdom to guide their hearts towards the Lord.

Oak Glen
Each year my parents make their annual trip to Oak Glen which we always accompany them on. This year though, they were unable to make it, so Chad, Chloe, and I decided to go on our own. The weather was cold but we had a ton of fun. Chloe loved running around the apple orchards getting dirty and we did our best to keep her close by.

Thanksgiving
This year, Chad and I had the priviledge of hosting our first Thanksgiving at our house. It was so much fun and we hope that we can do it on a regular basis. My father's side of the family came over and we ate and ate and ate.
Psalm 95: 1-6
Oh come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills are his also. The sea is his and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Fall Festival
Last Saturday we went to Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark with my brother and his family for the annual Fall Festival. The weather was perfect and the cousins had so much fun together! This was the first time that Chloe did not sit in her stroller at all which meant that we spent most of our day running after her :) It was a wonderful day and we were so thankful to be able to enjoy it with our family.
