Christmas

Christmas came and went this year, faster than I can ever remember. I wanted to freeze time and savor every second of Chloe's first Christmas but life must go on. This Christmas we were reminded once again of the amazing gift of Jesus Christ who came to earth as a baby. He is our Savior and He is our everlasting King. We praise Him for conquering sin and death on the cross so that we might have eternal life with Him.

The Christmas tree

Every year, we can hardly wait to get our Christmas tree and this year was especially exciting since we have our new little bundle of joy. Two of Chloe's favorite things are trees and lights and we were so excited to get our Christmas tree up and decorated for her to enjoy.

San Diego

Last week we spent a few days down in SD. Chad a business conference to attend and Chloe and I played while he worked. It was a nice change of pace and we always enjoy visiting the beach - it was Chloe's first time.

We took lots of silly pictures of Chloe in the hotel room.

We had dinner with my cousin and her husband.

We took a family excursion to Coronado Island.

And of course no visit to SD would be complete without at visit to Louis Kahn's Salk Institute.
