Thankfulness

As Thanksgiving has flown by so quickly this year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on just a couple of the amazing blessings that God has granted to me. I could list them on several pages but I will just list the top 5 things that I am thankful for this year.
-my salvation
-forgiveness
-a loving and tender husband
-a gorgeous baby girl
-the freedom to worship my Savior, Jesus Christ

This year we spent Thanksgiving with Chad's family with a brief stop at my parents house to visit the grandparents. We then had my parents over for dinner on Friday to continue our Thanksgiving eating. Here are some pictures of the time with our families.

Oak Glen

Every fall since the day I was born, my parents take us to Oak Glen for the day. This is where my parents got engaged and has since become an annual family tradition. This year was especially fun because it was Chloe's first time to join.

We bought lots of apple butter...yummy!!!

We had our usual picnic with tri-tip sandwiches...

We had lots of apples....

and Chloe got to spend lots of time with Grandpa.

Button's first "real" meal

Now that Chloe is 6 months old we are beginning to introduce her to solids. She is not quite sure about eating her rice cereal and ends up getting more around the outside of her mouth than the inside. I guess patience and practice is the key. She makes us laugh as she turns her head back and forth and whines about the mush we are trying to shove in her mouth. Hopefully she will get in the hang of it soon.
